Our Musicians
Selected for Professionalism First and Performance Second
This page exists to provide reassurance, credibility, and clarity for corporate and institutional clients—not to function as a talent marketplace.
Every musician appearing under the PKFX banner has been vetted for reliability, discretion, and technical readiness, as well as musical ability. They are experienced in corporate, private, and formal event environments where standards, presentation, and coordination matter.
Professional Standards & Vetting
PKFX musicians and on-site production technicians operate under a professional standard
Read the full standards & vetting detail
- Verified professional performance history
- Experience working in corporate, hospitality, and formal event settings
- Contractual reliability and punctuality
- Clear communication and collaborative working practices
Where required by the client or venue, DBS checks are in place for both musicians and technical personnel. This provides an additional layer of assurance for organisations that require security-cleared contractors or enhanced safeguarding standards.
Our approach is deliberately proactive — ensuring compliance expectations are met before they become a concern.
Experience & Training
PKFX musicians bring a wide range of experience of performing across the UK and overseas.

Their experience include performances at established venues, corporate events, private functions, and high-profile environments where professionalism and adaptability are essential.
Some members of the PKFX roster have received advanced formal training at leading music institutions, including:
- Royal College of Music
- Royal Academy of Music
- Other internationally recognised conservatoires and music academies
This blend of formal training and real-world performance experience ensures musical quality without sacrificing reliability, etiquette, or situational awareness in corporate and formal event settings.
Most musicians in the PKFX roster have done 100+ performances, which is evident when seen at an event.
Instrumental Coverage
PKFX maintains a flexible and scalable musician pool, allowing us to configure formats precisely to suit each event.

Instrumental coverage includes, but is not limited to:
- Piano / Keyboard
- Cello
- Violin
- Saxophone
- Guitar (electric and acoustic)
- Vocals (for performance-led formats)
- Percussion (select formats)
Musicians are selected based on event context, acoustic environment, audience profile, and programme flow — not availability alone. This ensures each configuration supports the tone, pacing, and practical requirements of the event.
Consultation-Led Matching
PKFX does not operate a self-selection or browsing model. Instead, musicians are assigned through a consultation-led process.
Read how our consultation-led matching works
This ensures:
- Musical style aligns with the tone of the event
- Visual presentation matches the setting
- Instrumentation complements venue acoustics
- Transitions between formats (e.g. instrumental → performance) are seamless
- Hybrid combinations can be created i.e. Solo for entrance and dinner + Trio or full band for after dinner / main event
Clients deal with one point of contact, while PKFX handles all musician coordination behind the scenes, including scheduling, briefing, and on-the-day integration.
Professional Conduct & Integration
PKFX musicians are briefed on conduct, presentation, and integration before every engagement.

PKFX musicians are briefed on conduct, presentation, and integration before every engagement. Standards include:
- Appropriate professional dress
- Discreet on-site behaviour
- Respect for venue protocols
- Smooth collaboration with AV teams, planners, and venue staff
Where on-site production support is included, venue management liaises directly with the PKFX Technical Support Liaison, allowing musicians to remain focused on performance without interruption.

A Trusted Talent Pool
PKFX operates as a delivery-led live music act, not a music agency or talent management company.
All performances are delivered under a single PKFX framework, with consistent standards of presentation, production, and on-site coordination.
To support scalable formats, PKFX works with a carefully curated pool of professional musicians selected for reliability, discretion, and suitability for corporate and formal event environments. This allows line-ups to expand or reconfigure as required, while maintaining continuity of quality and delivery.
Musicians engaged for PKFX events are integrated into PKFX’s established performance and technical structure. Talent, production, and client liaison are coordinated within one delivery model, reducing hand-offs and ensuring clarity at every stage of the event.
PKFX remains the sole contracting and delivery entity.
Clients and organisers work with one live music provider, one point of contact, and a single accountable party—regardless of event size or format.

FAQs
Is PKFX a music agency or a live act?
PKFX operates as a delivery-led live music act, not a music agency or talent management company. We deliver corporate-ready live music through a consistent PKFX framework that covers performance standards, production coordination, and on-site liaison. This keeps accountability clear for clients and organisers while allowing formats to scale when required. You work with one live music provider and one point of contact, regardless of whether the event uses a solo, duo, trio, or larger live line-up.
Can we request specific musicians for our event?
PKFX uses a consultation-led matching process to ensure the right fit for your venue, audience, and event flow. Where availability and suitability align, we can accommodate preferences. However, our priority is always the best overall configuration for the event—musically and operationally—within a consistent delivery standard. This approach helps maintain professionalism, smooth transitions between formats, and reliable coordination with venues and event teams.
Do you provide DBS checks?
Where required by the client or venue, DBS checks can be in place for both musicians and technical personnel. This provides an additional level of reassurance for organisations with safeguarding, compliance, or security requirements. If DBS clearance is needed, confirm this at enquiry stage and we will align the assignment accordingly. Our approach is proactive: requirements are clarified early so there are no last-minute surprises for procurement, venue management, or event stakeholders
Do you provide sound, lighting and technical support?
Yes—where required, PKFX can provide professional sound and lighting as part of an integrated delivery model. This supports consistent outcomes and reduces unnecessary hand-offs between multiple suppliers. We confirm venue requirements in advance, plan the technical approach, and coordinate on-site setup so sound levels, lighting, and transitions align with the event schedule. The aim is a smooth, corporate-appropriate experience with clear accountability and minimal operational friction.
Can you scale the line-up during the same event?
Yes. PKFX formats are designed to scale with the structure of your event. For example, you may use a refined instrumental format for guest arrival or dinner, then transition to a performance-led line-up later in the evening. We plan the flow in advance so transitions are seamless, the technical setup supports the schedule, and the atmosphere builds appropriately. This allows you to achieve the right tone at each stage without changing suppliers or re-briefing separate teams.
How do you manage volume levels for corporate venues?
PKFX plans volume and staging with the venue context in mind, including room size, audience profile, and programme flow. Where needed, we design the event to build in energy later while maintaining a controlled, appropriate sound level earlier in the schedule. We coordinate with venue teams and, where applicable, manage sound through on-site technical support so levels remain consistent and comfortable. The goal is impact without disruption—professional live music delivered with good judgement. Our sound system is to the highest quality.
Who is our point of contact on the day?
You will have a clear point of contact throughout the process. For performance and event flow, PKFX provides direct liaison to keep timings, transitions, and coordination smooth. Where on-site production support is included, venue management can liaise directly with the PKFX Technical Support Liaison, allowing musicians to remain focused on performance without interruption. This structure helps ensure the event runs calmly and professionally, with issues resolved quickly and discreetly.
